Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers is a professional dance company located in Philadelphia. Hailed for its superbly trained dancers and inventive choreography, the internationally-active KYL/D draws upon Eastern philosophies while expanding the perimeter of contemporary dance.
With that being said, the critically acclaimed, contemporary dance company, Kun-Yang Lin/Dancers, continues to push boundaries by showcasing its "brilliantly gifted movers and makers.” And now, they celebrate their 10th anniversary in Philadelphia.
Advancing KYL/D's commitment to nurturing the exceptional and distinctive creativity of its dance artists, the company presents three new works by KYL/D's senior artists— Liu Mo, Evalina Carbonell, and Weiwei Ma all performed by the KYL/D ensemble. These three premieres will be complemented by one of Artistic Director Kun-Yang Lin's signature works, HOME/S. 9th St., described as "poignant, full-bodied and relevant.”
